An opportunity has arisen for a QA Manager to have the chance to lead a small dynamic team of bright, hard-working fun experts who have already successfully made their mark in the industry.
As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all products are fit for purpose and meet internal and external needs. You will be liaising with other managers and staff throughout the business to ensure that the QA system is effective.
As the QA Manager, your role will involve, steering the working practice of product teams, providing tools and techniques to enable your team to achieve the required quality levels.
- Extensive experience within a quality role with experience working a s a QA manager.
- Proven leadership in driving business wide improvements to reduce defects and to show substantial improvement in quality.
- Professional attitude, with a strong attention to detail, process oriented and organised.
- Self-motivated able to accept new challenges and motivate others, Good influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Solid knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for user-interface design.
- Analytic problem solving, fault finding and troubleshooting.
- An appreciation and desire to work on cutting edge creative software in the visual effects industry.
- Well organised with ability to prioritise, multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with 3D animation (e.g Maya)
- Experience working with external renderers (PRman , Mental ray, etc)
- Experience with bug tracking and test plan management software.
- Experience with logging bugs using Bugzilla or similar system.
- Experience with a test Management System.
