Based from London, this role is to join a well established global organization.
Key responsibilities:
- The Security Analyst will be at the front line of the operational security processing and visualization
- Monitoring integrity status of data globally
- A successful Security Analyst will have the ability to ensure integrity, adoption of best practice and protection of company assets by applying effective information security practices
- 1st level processing of security alerts, events and notifications (e-mail, ticketing, virus warning, intelligence feeds)
- Notification of internal teams, according to agreed alert priority levels and escalation trees
- Basic configuration and maintenance of security tools and security event management
- Security input and support into technology change requests
- Operational shift cover of monitoring, alerting and response systems
Skills
- The Security Analyst should have a basic understanding of ICT systems and technologies
- Ability to perform actions to determine the cause and the mitigation measures for a security alert
- Ability to work shifts including days, nights and weekends, in the office / in a data centre / remotely
- A successful Security Analyst should have the ability to write concise and coherent technical documentation
