Role:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Information Technology plays a key role in driving the operational efficiency of the company overseeing IT and business systems. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the business with the ability to collaborate closely with every department, understand business requirements, and deliver complex infrastructure and application solutions to business problems while providing exceptional customer service. The Head of Information Technology is responsible for the development and maintenance of technology policies and procedures, ensuring best practices are implemented across all company locations.

Required Skills:

  • Responsible for the recruitment, career development, and performance management of the department
  • Oversees team responsible for all for all infrastructure systems and services including authentication, information security, disaster recovery, network, storage, web and application servers, desktop and application support
  • Oversees team responsible for all existing and new transactional systems, modules and features, including finance, CRM, marketing, and web applications
  • Specifies, plans, and oversees the implementation of any IT changes required by the business, partnering with department heads to ensure solutions provided address business needs
  • Delivers projects on time and within budget guidelines, ensuring systems and services improvements are efficiently and effectively delivered
  • Manages stakeholder expectations regarding the project schedule, cost, and scope
  • Ensures there are established controls and processes implemented across the company to ensure compliance with IT security
  • Develops comprehensive monitoring and reporting for supported IT related functions and provides reports for internal and external customers
  • Provides strategic leadership and operational management for transactional services ensuring services are delivered to agree upon standards with internal stakeholders
  • Creates and oversees the successful and timely execution of action plans to correct performance and operational issues; identifies, manages and reports all risks in a timely manner
  • Conducts post-implementation project retrospectives to mature and evolve project management methodologies and delivery capabilities of internal teams
  • Establishes strong partnerships with third party vendors
  • Acts as internal and external escalation point for all department related issues, maintaining open and effective lines of communication at all times
  • Responsible for communication of all IT related information to all levels and company locations
  • Responsible for all department related documentation
  • Develops and implements training programs for all company systems and services
  • Actively promotes knowledge sharing across the company
